Laminar flow hood, also called a clean bench, is an enclosed box that is designed to create a particulate-free horizontal or vertical laminar airflow environment, preventing airborne contamination of particle sensitive objects such as laboratory samples or semiconductor wafers. Laminar flow cabinets are equipped with a fan module with 99.99 percent-efficient high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) or 99.999 percent-efficient ultra-low penetration air (ULPA) filters that cleans air and directs it in horizontal or vertical airflow towards a working area at a constant speed. We offer a variety of clean benches designed for a variety of research and engineering needs. The selection includes freestanding, portable and bench-top laminar flow workstations that, depending on the model, can be customized with optional features, such as a power outlet, UV light, stainless steel work surface tray, air speed monitor and other add-ons.
