Now available at Cleatech, 2800 Series Stainless Steel Isolation Glovebox. Designed to provide a hermetically sealed environment, providing critical electrical components. Constructed from high-quality 304-grade stainless steel gives the glovebox a robust frame. A seam or continuous weld prevents humidity and oxygen from re-entering the chamber after backfilled with nitrogen or argon and its large tilt-up front clear AR polycarbonate window allows large components to be placed inside the glovebox chamber.
Provide a clean, controlled atmosphere environment for many applications such as semiconductor, pharmaceutical manufacturing, research, and testing. Stainless steel has good resistance to a wide range of chemicals and excellent moisture and heat resistance. They can be decontaminated and cleaned easily, and they are ESD safe suitable for electrostatic-sensitive applications if grounded.
Stainless Steel
Produced over 100 years ago, stainless steel is one of the most common metals to be used in architecture, automotive, food, medical, and R&D industries. 304-grade stainless steel contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel giving stainless steel its corrosion resistant properties.
Benefits of Stainless Steel
Seam Welding/Continuous Weld
A seam weld is a continuous weld to join two surface areas. A continuous produces a leak-tight seam and strong bond, a critical feature in the construction of Cleatech’s Stainless Steel Glovebox.
